Abstract

Research plays important role in the development of nation. Output of research in any subject area may be useful in framing the policy. The correct policy provides proper direction to the society to go at right path. Therefore, it is expected that researchers must do their research very carefully. Through research it must see the contribution of Indian scientists in their research area. Sagar S. Kumbhar, Rohan Raju Pawar, Mrunalini D. Gadade, and Shraddha Rohan Zagde have studied research contribution of researchers from Savitribai Phule Pune University in their article through bibliomatric analysis. Research contribution and performance by Indian scientists in the field of Nanotechnology : A Bibliometric Analysis is studied by Zahid Ashraf Wani, Safat Mushtaq Misgar, Sartaj Aziz Teli, and Aamir Maqbool Bhat in their article. Authorship and co-citation analysis is done by Netai Manda, Amalendu Das, Dr. Durga Sankar Rath, and Suman Das in their article titled “An evaluative study of Library & Information Science research during 1987 - 2020 based on authorship and co-citation analysis”
