The present study investigates the existing scenario of web-based services in the Agricultural and Veterinary University Libraries of Haryana and Punjab. The objectives of the study are to understand web-based services and sources and explore their utility and advantages, identify gaps, and provide suggestions for improvement. A Google questionnaire was prepared for the collection of data from librarians of selected university libraries in Haryana and Punjab. The findings report that out of six agricultural and veterinary university libraries five have implemented LMS software i.e. koha whereas one university has still not implemented any kind of LMS even after 12 years of its establishment. The same library has no regular library staff. Only one library has subscribed to indexing and abstracting databases and only two libraries have subscribed to e-journal databases and plagiarism software for its scholars. All libraries are providing CeRA journals and indiastat.com and access to OA resources. None of the libraries have integrated social media tools on library websites or web pages.
